my plans are to be at the ICA show in may and looking for suggestions or opinions on evening entertainment between may 6th and may 9th.So far I've looked at Kings comedy Club,"One voice" starring Bethany Owen,Anthony Cools @ Paris L.V.,Blue man Group, and " Defending the Caveman" @ Harrah's. Anything off the beaten path thats worth a look.Mustang Ranch not on the menu, lol.

AFAIAC any show that you can see outside of Vegas you should not see in Vegas. Vegas has stuff you can't find anywhere else and that is the kind of stuff you should see. Among them are the Cirque De Solei shows.

Luv if you like the beatles)

Are some of the best. Reccomend not more than 2 Cirque shows in a trip since they are similar yet different.

Yep, they are pricey, but worth any 2 shows together any where else.

Get to the Golden Gate Casino for some old fashioned go-go dancers. No nudity, just a nice sexy show, low-key and classy.

If I were going this year you'd find me there at least 1 nite maybe 2.

Too bad the waxman and i can't hang out and show you the nightlife. All the hangouts love us, two of the biggest low rollers on spending the $$. Where are the $.99 drinks. Heres a website that i have never used that gives you an idea of the vast amount of entertainment. Alot of it has been recycled the last 20yrs from casino to casino. A couple of years ago the ICA had the opening night with penn and teller, while good-- alot of f bombs. Last year we went to Criss Angel,-- worth the money around $70. My truly favorites are the comedians where you haven't heard of them before you go, and they give you a couple drinks and a night of entertainment for under $40, and you leave with a sore belly from laughing so much.

I am a fan of the small comedy clubs. The Comedy Shop at the Tropicana has always been a good one. Several others are around. I think Ballys has one. I tried keeping up with Randy one year but he parties harder than I do.

ok, this looks pretty good coming from some veterans and I will check this out.I will add that last January I visited the the gun store on tropicana ave that has a huge selection of machine guns, military type guns and ww 2 firearms with an indoor range.I own my fair share of guns in all flavors and this place was a "blast".Not alot of places one can go and shoot fully automatic weapons and they have them.

Not Rodney Carrington

I have wanted to see Rodney for several years and finally got to see him during race week in Vegas. He was appearing at our hotel inside the MGM Grand. My wife called and got tickets and I mean a table on the front row. Needless to say I have never been more disappointed and if I could have got part of my money back I would have left halfway through the show. I'm not going to get into all the reasons but lets just say he came out raw and never let up. Several people not on the front row did leave early.

Does anyone else suffer from the very low humidity there? I know I'm starting to sound like an old man, but this really affects me. I live in FL full time where the humidity is always at least 80%, with 90 common. When I get to the 5 or 10% there my head dries up. Nose bleeds and uncomfortable stuff. It takes me about 3 days to adjust, and then I come back. My wife has the same reaction, so I'm pretty certain it's not just my imagination.

Spend an evening walking on the Fremont Street mall in Old Las Vegas.
What you will see there you will not see anywhere else in the world. Be sure to pay attention, overhead to the light show, amazing.

A coating of vaseline keeps the passages moist.

Save your money on Blue Man, thought it was a waste. If you and your wife are over 50, go see Menopause, its cheap and funny. Any of the Cirque De Solei shows. I've seen the one at Treasure Island, 7-8 times. If you are by yourself Jubille at Ballys is great.

People aways say God $100+ for a show??? Spend 2 hours at a table and then you realize how cheap the shows are.

I've seen the Blue Man Group on DVD and liked it - from what I hear the show isn't really different. If you like the whole concert experience you'll probably enjoy it.

I was going to recommend Lance Burton, but it looks like he retired. He's way better than Siegfried and Roy ever were.
