I was just reading the forum and got a call from a woman at one of the washes. She said "this will sound odd but I just vacuumed up my shirt and I am sitting here at the wash with just my bra and I need to get my shirt out of the vac........ I just got back, problem solved.

I guess I must be getting old. I actually called my attendant who was working at the time and he took care of it. Retreived her shirt out of the vac, she thanked him and went on her way.

Years ago when I was a field manager for Sohio's carwash division, I was called out one evening to one of my washes to take an incident report. A customer had loaded her own car on to the conveyor of one our exterior tunnel washes. She exited the car to ask the attendant a question and left here car running with the transmission in reverse. It was a big 70's two door car with a really long door. There was a safety pole at the correlator and my attendant ran and pulled her out of the way just before the door pinned her against the safety pole. In the process her managed to pull her shirt off. She was a well endowed young black girl and she wasn't wearing a bra. She was so happy that he saved her she didn't notice at first and yelled out "Praise the Lord" and gave him a big hug. Suddenly she realized her top was gone and tried put back on her torn shirt. My attendant got quite an eyeful that night.

Someone I worked for at the time told me he was at his wash at 3 AM and saw a girl in a convertible 'Vette pull into a bay and get out wearing a thong, spiked heels and nothing else. He went over to talk to her (while she put on some clothes to wash her car) and found out she danced at a nearby club. The scary part was that it was the same wash where Kenneth McDuff had abducted Colleen Reed a year before.
