I am looking to replace my old self serve gear. One of the vendors I am considering is CustomKraft. Their pricing is higher than others but the quality seems good as does the VFD concept. Any opinions out there? Experience?

CustomKraft's claim to fame has been the 'one pump, one hose' solution. Everything mixed at the pump stand and with varying the pump speed, it clears the lines on changeover. This only really works well with individual pump stands at each bay in a mechanical room behind or above the bays. If you have a middle or end equipment room and some distant bays, the change overs are too long.

I built SS equipment for many years. We always stuck with the simple stuff; simple to work on, nothing unnecessarily complicated, the pump plumbed to be serviced easily - I would consider that in your selection.

I have been in ss for 47 yrs. My CustomKraft has been doing great for 12 yrs .The changeover is 12 seconds for the 4th bay from equip. room.It would be less with a bigger nozzel. I dont have to climb up to the trough to work on hoses and check valves anymore. It takes only one adjustment per tank to change chemical concentrate to all bays when I try a new product. With the cog belt, I dont have to keep adjusting belt tension.I think it all will all last longer than I will.
