I'll try to do that DiamondWash. James, I was wrong on the dryers wasn't I? We are having a grand opening Saturday and I'll try to get some pics and video then.

In the video the sun shining through the rear of the bay kind of washes out the color on the wand. We have had no complaints and have had so many people thank us for installing this unit. I am very excited with the results we are getting.

cdreed06,
That is a great video. I noticed that the underbody sprays on the side of the car. We found that water on the painted surface greatly reduce the cleaning because the presoak does not get on the dry dirt but on a layer of water. We check cleaning by wiping spots the car while wet with a white Kleenex.

Thanks JIMT, that does make sense. We are aiming to get the wheels with that spray. I do know there is quite a bit of difference in presoak on a dry car vs wet. Thanks and we will see what we can come up with.

The wash looks good. I think the side undercar sprayers might help remove heavy mud on some vehicles. The only thing I saw that I did not like was that it could not really size a car for width. In my experience people usually drive into a open bay like that and end up shifted to the left hand side. If you can come up with a system to keep them centered in the bay then the width adjustment would not matter as much. How far does the wash arm sit from the side of a typical car when spraying? I like mine to sit from 12 to 18 inches. More than that and the impact of the high pressure is reduced.

Looks like it did a great job washing the Jeep. Love the lit gantry.
My concerns are the amount of water on the ingress and egress exteriors of the bay and the freezing that will occur outside the bays in the winter.
Would you lose some cleaning power if you angled the nozzles more toward the interior of the bays?
I did not notice any drains at the exit to trap the water.
Also does the overlap of the water spray on high pressure diminish the effect of the impact on the surface of the vehicle?
Can you be able to increase the speed of the machine traveling around the vehicle? With you driving in it still took over 6 minutes to wash. Someone that is not so good at entering or leaving the bay might add 1-2 more minutes. That could be a problem of busy days.

Soapy, I haven't seen anybody getting way over on either side. I hadn't considered that yet though. JMMustang, I too have worried about freezing on the ingress and egress. There is no drains at either end. I am hoping with the doors down in cold weather it will stop the majority of the water before it becomes a issue. I do believe we can speed the machine up a bit, not completely sure though. It does take quite a bit of time to do the top wash. So far it hasn't been a issue but.... We appreciate all the comments and several things have been brought up that I hadn't considered. Thanks for you all getting me to think a bit more.

The Kondor as well as all Belanger equipment is capable of speed adjustments around the front, down the sides, and around the back independantly of each other. This Kondor is running half speed front, sides, and rear.

cdreed06, it's been almost 2 years now, how's the Kondor holding out? I have been thinking about the Kondor as a replacement. Anything you would do different?

Stuart, it is doing very well. We are very pleased with the Kondor. The only thing we would do different is have the factory rail heat installed. To retrofit it now would be a pain so we are using a infrared heater to keep the rails from freezing. Any other questions I would be happy to answer. And yes, we would buy it again.
