I know that I always enjoy looking at other car washes, so I took some pics this morning of my place. I will post more if this first one works.

Thanks.

I am very busy today.

My floor heat boiler wasn't coming on today when I came in.

I have the gas co. here but it's not looking good. Posting on General industry now; maybe someone has an idea to help me!!

Making $$ the hard way this Winter so far at my carwash!!!!!

I guess I should be happy that my floor heat boiler just creates a larger expense and not problems. Good luck man, better get some salt.

Hey Bubbles Galore, where are you located that you can have a glass equipment room door? Hasn't anyone ever tried breaking through the door to get to your changers? We wouldn't last a week with a door like that!

Haven't ever had an issue with it. The previous owner told me it is the original door from 1990. The police station is a half a mile north of me and I make sure to encourage our officers to do their paperwork in our bays whenever they want. The previous owners thought was to show someone with ill intentions that there is not anything that can be easily exchanged for money inside. My local officers also are aware of my schedule, so if they see the light on and its an off time, they will swing in and check it out.

I can see why you wanted to paint or cover the bay walls, but have you tried cleaning them? I'll bet muriatic acid will make them look good again, and they're a fairly light color.

I always have my camera ready. Here are some of my personal favorites. These pictures will make anyone want to jump into car wash business.

A couple more more of some of the local boys handy work. This ACW was in service less than a week.

Geez.....I can't complain at all after seeing those pics.

MEP: I have decided to go through and do a deep clean in each bay this spring. As I am able to accumulate enough money, I will go through and put up EPI panels in each bay.

I stopped by the wash after I took my wife out to dinner this evening and found about a dump truck load of cement, brick, re-rod, and plain old garbage. I will post some pics in the morning before I clean it up.

I don't think posting up pics of how folks got into acw's is a good idea .

Not criticizing you, just lookin out for everyone's best interests.

lets get these off of here asap.

Nice!

One of the pics of your equipment room caught my eye. It looked like a steel box on your wall that has timers in it and no lid/cover. I'm paranoid about leaving doors to breaker boxes and other elec equipment open. Too may times I've sprung a leak in my ER and the bad karma I've accumulate over the years ensures that it will spray right at something electrical.
