Pin lock for vacuum

Someone tried to drill out the lock for the pin on vac and the bit broke off inside the lock. Short of using a grinder to cut open the vac panel what else should I try?

Not sure exactly which lock you have, but most pin locks could be forced open with a large screwdriver.

Have you got it open yet? They are easy to get into.

No I haven't got it off yet. Tried a method suggested by another member but no luck.

Those locks are easy to get open. I can do one in about 2 minutes. Did you do what I told you to do in the PM I sent you.
