I've got some fairly large copper pipes feeding my hot water tanks and such and want to insulate them against thermal loss. I can't find the split foam covers for these larger sizes, what are you guys using to keep your pipes insulated?

Thanks!

There are several plumbing supply companies local to me where I can buy it - Home Depot/Lowe's don't carry larger than for 3/4" pipe.

The run from the boiler to the tank is pretty short and there's no circulation between them, so I've never worried about insulating.

Thanks MEP, for some reason, I have alot of exposed copper that loses more than its fair share of thermal energy. I will check out the link. Thanks!

Or use two pipe foams- one on each side and zip tie around them.
