I have 4 older Doyle vacuums that someone decided they needed the stainless domes more than I did! I was going to replace them with the plastic style. Doyle sells them but the color doesn't match my theme that well. They mount with bolts through the bottom sides of the dome. Do other brands mount in a similar fashion? Are other brands similar in diameter? I looked at the ones offered by Kleenrite for IVS, Ginsan, and JE Adams but wasn't sure if they would fit. Any help would be appreciated.

What year are they built? The 18" round Doyles we have from 2002 have the screws go in from the side. We bought red ones from Doyle. What colors did they offer you?

They have multiple colors available it's just the blue they offer doesn't match our blue very well.

FWIW you might end up paying more for plastic domes than for replacing stainless. You might want to price them both.

I would go with a bold bright color that stands out, put bright LED bulbs in the top brings a lot of attention to the vacs.
I use to have every thing the same color too and the vacs seemed to just blend in to everything else.
If your start up time is 4 minutes for $1 or so I would raise the price to at least $2 for 7-8 minutes.
I did this and it has been great. People see the vacs more seemed to love the extra time.
