It's bad enough when politicians kill businesses with COVID-19 shutdowns. It's worse if they kill a business because the owner won't give money to their friends.

It looks like an opportunity for electing some new local leadership ... especially if there are enough similar to John Stossel within the media who aren't "bought sold & paid for".

Let the record show that ... I was unfairly misquoted of the above by MEP001 after the directly above post. It was very misleading at minimum & weakens the credibility of this specific forum ... especially when others join in the support for these kinds of unjust deliberate manipulations & alterations of posts!

It certainly was not fair for any potential future Eckert16's presentations of how he was unfairly singled out!

Do you have an updated summary on your situation for us now that a bit more time has gone by? My thoughts & where my heart is ... that what you are documenting along with support from John Stossel ... is 100% true. If it wasn't true ... it seems like there would be a lawsuit frenzy against both you & John Stossel for defamation.

If fellow car wash operators (& any car wash representative organization they support) were thinking clearly IMHO ... they would not be poo pooing & belittling your situation.
