Not sure of the logistics but it would be great if some of us could "in house" write & "test" our own Android or IOS app. That way it seems like some of the dependencies would be a bit less. Outside connectivity could still be a "proprietary elsewhere" stickler though. I have read that there is some improvising with DIY Arduino<=>phone going on.
For laundromats ... it appears that a new version of PayRange is gaining some traction. Not sure what obstacles would be for car washes to use the PayRange App though.
I guess poll is closing in 4 minutes. I got an email just now from PayPal Venmo ... not sure if anybody uses the App-QR code process within their car wash app??? Intro rate 2.2% ... note intro stipulation ... appears to be some fine print involved.

Just got our touch4wash up and running. Right now you can start any self serve bay, auto wash, or vac. Hope to get the vendor connected soon. Still to early to see how it will do, but it does have a high cool factor.

I'm looking into this we have had wash card since they started some 20 years. I struggle with having to put their expensive stainless steel box on my Vac's. Has anyone tried installing their controller and card reader in the coin box of the vacs?
I know what you're saying about having the card reader and controller in the vacs I considered it as well when we added them to ours, it comes down to sizing all the equipment in the vac box and having to cut the card reader design into each door precisely and having the everything line up and that's why I bit the bullet and went with the boxes.
Since Slash is not answering, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. And I'd be happy to schedule a demo with you if you're interested in seeing the Coinless solution up close.
