I've had 4 failures on polybraid hoses this summer and I am starting to wonder the cause.
1st was a one inch hose that has city water pressure and supplies the touchfree.
2nd was 3/4 inch that runs spot free to the Profile. Approximately 150-200psi. This one may be on me for asking to much of the pressure rating.
3rd and 4th were 1/2 hose for the touch free that run at about 200 psi. Hose is rated at 250.
All of the hose is kuriyama from kleenrite purchased 3 or so years ago.
All failures were at a bend or close to the barb and were substantial leaks but not total blowouts.
We've had a lot of heat and I assume that has contributed, but I've got other polybraid hose that has been in service for 15 plus years.
Wondering if I got a bad batch or if I am expecting too much.
