One thing I will add to this thread is all hoses are not the same. You cannot go just off of price. Yes manufactures will charge your more then a local shop but you have to make sure the quality of the hose is the same. If a hose is half the price but you have to change it in half the time then you only created more work for yourself. I use Parker hoses because I have a Parker crimp. In the beginning I started out using a 387TC hose then switched to the 387ST. I found the 387TC will break due to rubbing in the IGUS where the 387ST will crack when it breaks due to the water. None of these hoses are rated for water only hydraulic fluid. The 387ST though lasts twice as long and the 387TC when properly fitted and installed.
