Proper hydraulic oil for Ring O Matic 500T clamshell pit cleaner?

Popped a hose, replacing it and need to top off the hydraulic oil. It appears it might be ATF fluid. pink.. but not sure. If so Type F? DexronII? does it matter? want to make sure I dont do something to damage the seals. the oil in there now is a milky pink so may have some moisture mixed in it so will replace it all once I'm sure what to use.

Great question.
Can you mix a different type hydraulic oul,& if so, can that damage anything?
Id like to know what's the best & use it

Never mix hydraulic oils. If there's something that will work besides what is currently in it, you'd need to change it all. If there's something in it that doesn't look like what should be in it, change it all.

FWIW, I picked up a 2 gallon jug of ISO 68 oil from Tractor supply for about $30. That's about half the cost per unit of Cat oil in a 2.5 gallon jug. This is the description of it on Kleen-Rite's site: "Cat Pump Oil is a specially formulated Crankcase oil for high pressure pumps. Contains anti-wear, rust inhibitor and deoxidizer additives. 30 wt. non-detergent." Nope, it's also ISO 68 hydraulic oil, says so right on the bottle/jug.

I'd probably call Ring-O-Matic Parts 1-800-544-2518, ext. 233 or Service 1-800-544-2518, ext. 232 and ask them what kind of hydraulic oil to use. If it's milky it needs to be replaced. ISO 68 oil is roughly the equivalent to a SAE 20 weight oil.
