Pump running on its own

Equipment is a Coleman super saver...

Went in this morning and found the high pressure gun on in one of my self serve bays and no one in it.....believe it to be fresh water.
Had to throw the breaker to get it to stop
I do hope I didn't lunch the motor.......overheated for sure.

Any help would be appreciated....

About the only thing it can be is the contactor that has arced and fused closed. If pulling the fuse for 24V didn't stop it, it is for sure the contactor.

Could you elaborate on the contactor......???

I have an electrician coming tomorrow and I would like to be able to point it out.
In other words ...where do I look for it?

I found the contactor in the control cabinet.....its a seiman part

Its tough getting old.....just another brain cramp.

I have seen this before and the problem was the meter box timers acting up especially IDX timers. I don't know what kind of timers you have but you could change to see if it stops. Also like mep said the contactor/motor starter could be messed up getting.
