I know a lot of us roll/wrap a lot of quarters. I’m looking for advice on a cheap supplier of the paper wrappers. Thanks!

My bank still gives me these free....
But even better....my bank provides coin bags allowing me to deposit bulk coin $1000.00 at a time. My old bank gave me credit about a week later after verification....my new bank credits immediately and adjusts (never been off) if needed. I do not dispense quarters but deposit a bag every three weeks or so from walk in quarters.

We buy them on Amazon in a 1,000-count box, $15.99. Worth the cost.

My bank allows me to bring them in bags at $500 or $1000. They prefer the $500 as easier to carry.

$500.00 of quarters to the bulk bag....good idea..easier for all to handle. I’ll ask my bank...never thought of that as the bags indicate max of $1,000in quarters.....

Thanks you all for the information! I have the business account with Huntington Bank for now. At first they told me they could sell me plastic bags that hold up to $1000 in quarters. Then they told me that I need to wrap them so as to avoid more charges. I can see now that it's going to be frustrating working with this bank. A new local bank is opening soon and I will probably move to them to see what they are willing to do for me. Thanks again for being so helpful. I knew you all would come through again!

Ah Huntington bank. I was with them for several years. After several conversations, they agreed the trade off for my wrapped singles wasn’t such a bad deal, and they allowed me to deposit bulk quarters in bags provided by them with no fees. Usually took 10 days for the deposit to show up as they waited for verification of my count.
My new bank, First Financali is WONDERFUL....immediate credit for coin deposited, no fee for bulk dollar coins and just plain nice and friendly.
FYI.....Huntington FIRED me both as a business and personal customer.....they were concerned that I was depositing cash!!!! I’ll never use that bank again.......not even if they give out free toasters

Well thanks for helping me confirm my suspicions Chaz. I think a local bank is going to be the way to go for us. It is amazing to me how a bank can just turn away cash. Fees for everything just seems like a good way to drive away business. Thankfully, I have some other options.

We roll our coin in bank supplied wrappers for the simple reason it is deposited in our account right away. If we put the coin in a bag it wouldn’t be credited to our account until it goes to the main vault, which is a Brinks/Dunbar facility and it could take up to 10 days before it credited to our account. A lot of banks don’t want to take your cash because its labor intensive to process/count the cash, that’s why they have a coin counter in the lobby, it so you can count it yourself. One bank we were doing business with would report every cash transaction, because they were concerned with drug dealing, give me a break.

Amazing.... banks honor hand rolled coin counts but want the bulk bag verified. When I order coin....I will only accept bulk in be8nis sealed bags or “factory” rolled. On several occasions I did my bank a favor and bought their home rolled coins only to discover a shortage...too much effort to count and get credit from bank.

IMHO, I really believe that the USA public needs to be more vigilant when it comes to "games playing" by conflict of interest financial institutions such as banks & the banker controlled Federal Reserve. Two former US Mint directors from both parties have repeatedly pointed out the problems of having the Federal Reserve in charge .... of the more viable for taxpayers efficiency wise coin.
Why do I say this ... it is from hearing & observing too many incidents of what you guys are experiencing along with my local experience & looking at the possibility of all the local banks in some areas thinking that it is OK to embrace these "bad news" unnecessary diminishment of cash policies. Keep in mind ... Visa MasterCard executives way back in 1959 have gone on record saying that their ultimate goal is elimination of all cash!

A few years ago a local Regions Bank froze our friends account on Friday afternoon for depositing coins. No warning, when they went to fill their car using debit card it was declined. Good thing they had some cash on hand.
A little while after than they did the same to me after we transferred some funds from another bank to our account at Regions, took me a week to access my funds afterwards. Needless to say, we use local banks now. Also, I had been a customer with them for 25 years.
