I have a Ryko SoftGloss and am having trouble with one of the tubes for the soap. Coming out of the pump for the soap there is about a 1' of 3/8"tubing that then attaches to an elbow which screws into a solenoid. On the end that attaches to the pump there is a black fitting with no washers that screws into the pump. On the end that screws onto the elbow, there is a white fitting that has two washers. One is a split washer followed by another washer that has a flat end then about a 1/4" sleeve. A couple of weeks ago soap was leaking out of that end so I tightened the nut and the leak stopped. Apparently over tightening the nut caused the soap to not flow freely and the pressure build up made the tube rupture. I figured that it should be an easy fix and replaced the tube, but no matter what I try it still leaks around the end that screws onto the elbow. It does say to hand tighten only, so I tried that with no luck. I also tried replacing the washers and that didn't help either. Over tightening using a wrench will stop the leak but then the pump struggles and pressure builds in the line. It seems to be the simplest repair ever, so I am not sure what I am missing/doing wrong. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
