Rear Wiper Blade Damaged - Do you cover?

Do you all cover rear wiper blades that are damaged in the wash tunnel? We put plastic bags on the wiper blades which has greatly reduced the amount of damaged wiper blades but we still get a couple a year. For other operators that use wiper bags or tape, do you cover the wiper blade if it is damaged?

When I was down in Florida I saw 2 washes that covered the rear wiper and double taped them apprx. 3" apart.
They told me it has helped a lot doing it this way verses one or the other ways.

We cover damage if the Vehicle is less than 10 years old. Currently 2006 Model year. Signs are posted.

We use masking tape.
