I am soooo pumped we are getting close to finishing the 2nd phase of my rehab of the ole wash i bought. Paint is almost finished up. Most likely done by tomorrow. My ginsan coin boxes were installed in march w/ crypto pay, just bumped the price to $1.50 for 3.5 start time. all new vacuum hoses, motors and timers ($0.75 for 3.5) new Hamilton changer installed in march as well.

next phase is the broken IBA being removed. (Possibly adding a used one)
Air shammies are on order waiting for them to come in for install and im debating raising my start cost to $2 for 4.66 mins once they are installed and working. Thoughts? (Will be the only wash with them) and then trying to get some of the parking lot repaired.

Also going to look at another abandoned wash this week to possibly pick up. :)

im super pumped with how this is turning out! I just hope the locals do as well. Here is some befores and afters talk about a whole new wash!

It's coming right along. It looks good with the gray and the orange stripe.

Looks GREAT.
Make sure the driveway is perfect. That’s the first thing your customers see.
You‘re putting a lot of work and money into this project.
I would give away free car washes and vacs the first weekend or two your open.
Have signs and banners made up. Post many flags by the street.
With the prices already in the bays customers will see the start up price.
I would price your bays at $2.50 for 5 minutes and $5.00 they get 12 minutes 2 minutes FREE cash only.
Make sure your signage state they get 2 FREE minutes with $5.00 CASH ONLY.
Many of your credit card customers will spend over $5 anyway.
Have your vac $2.00 for 8 minutes for the vacs.
