Installing new GinSan meters with D&S Self Wash pump stand. We ran into an issue with the PLC's being 24V DC and the meter push button modules using 24V AC. Not a huge deal. The fix is to use a relay bank on each bay to essentially activate each press of the push buttons on the meter. I ordered the relay banks and wired them up, but I cannot get the push buttons to activate the relay. We cautiously wired 120V to the coil side of the relay and was able to activate the relay. Simple answer right? We have the wrong relay cubes and need them to have a 24V AC activated coil. So my question is, how in the heck do you know what relay cube to purchase? The current cubes are OMRON G2R-1-E relays and everything I read about them when I bought them, said that they were 24V DC or AC. I assumed this would be what I needed. Is anyone a relay expert that can steer me in the right direction?
