Replace aerosol foamy carpet cleaner with this!

We had been using Tuff Stuff foam aerosol carpet cleaner as part of out detail process and with very good results.

The idea is to fill pot with fabric and upholstery cleaner and use as a substitute for foam aerosol, saving money.

85% of the soil in carpets is dry and 15% is oily soil on the fibers.

Therefore you need a thorough vacuuming to remove the oily soil.

Then a light spray of carpet shampoo to emulsify the oily soil on the fibers.

Friction scrub with a hand brush or rotary SHAMPOOER and then extract.

Foam is not really needed and probably will result in wet carpets.

the extractor wets the carpets alot more than the foam. the foam gun tornador works great! just got done detailing a dirty 4 runner grey cloth interior. it's got fans drying it now and i really like results!

If you do not use the extractor you leave chemical and oily soil residue in the carpets.

Used properly the carpets are not left more than slightly damp.

Without an extractor your cleaning will quickly recoil when the chemical residue dries.

yes we use the extractor. i like the way it rinses the interior carpet and cloth!

How does a vacuum remove oil?

Foam is not really needed and probably will result in wet carpets.

If anything, foam will prevent oversaturation, not induce it. Hand shampooing (especially with hand scrubbing) will push more wetness into the carpeting adding more time for drying.
