Reverse Osmosis Coupler

Ok Guys need a little help please. The attached picture show a coupler for my RO machine. As you can see the splines are missing on the one side and I need it replaced but I can't find anything for it. The RO machine was made by PRO-SFR, no model number was found. The coupler is 1 1/2" radius and has 10 teeth. Any ideas where to find them? The hose clamp is just a temporary fix. Thank you!

Thank's Randy but I didn't see anything even close to what I have. It's like a high pressure hose with splines on the inside.

On Monday morning I’d get on the phone and call Anaheim Automation, they’d be a good start or call around to some of the companies that specialize in power transmission products, there are a lot of them around.

Platoridge,

If you have a local bearing supply company in your area ... another option ... first thing Monday morning ... is to email them the pictures & dimensions &/or take the exact item to them & you might be surprised that one of their more experienced parts persons might be able to match it to an equivalent coupler. We had a similar coupling that we needed to match for our large Taco pump - motor for our deicer system & the locals actually even came up with another brand that also did exactly the same as the original coupling.

To come up with the dimensions ... it helps to have a really good caliper!

Maintaining perfect alignment for these types of couplings between a motor & a pump is the key for getting maximum life out of them. I remember when I had an older master mechanic working with me ... he actually re-tapped mounting holes so we could accomplish a better alignment ... because the OEM actually had not perfected their alignment process.

I used to have that one, too, as I have the PRO-SFR. Just switch it to the lovejoy that Kleen-Rite carries. Part # PPC3045; $20.45. It is an exact fit. I keep an extra on the shelf; as it so important to have SF production. Plus lovejoy spyders are readily available at a lot of supply houses.

Washnvac; my electric motor and the pump have splines, will that be a problem? I don't see splines on the part number you gave. Nevermind I just checked the splines are removable.
