I recently added a Ring Doorbell to my Hamilton ACW. So far I’m very impressed. It shows great video of vehicle, customer and payment. I can actually see what denomination of bill a customer is using and the direction they are inserting cards. It allows me to listen live and or in playback and determine if I’m having issues with my equipment....I did notice an increase in cards not reading....I think I’ve narrowed that down to a reader issue.
At this point I’ve received about 5 “rings” and I’ve answered 3 and solved the issues. Hopefully the “rings” won’t become an issue in my non Carwash life...whatever that is.
I’m using the video doorbell pro with the chime pro extender. My WiFi connection is pretty good, though I may add an outdoor extender. Ring also makes a hard wired (rg59 cable) version that may make more sense especially with new installs ...due to all the electrical interference at the wash.
