We have a Ring 0 Matic and had the same problem. Dumping would require digging, prying, shoving the mud with a square-nosed shovel each and every time. Then I found a solution to the problem.
I purchased a large roll of heavy duty plastic from a farm supply store that had a width slightly larger than the length of the bottom of the pit cleaner. I then roll out the plastic and cut it to the width of the cleaner (hard to describe, I know). Each time I do a load I place this "strip" of plastic on the bottom of the cleaner, it covers the entire floor, then load the mud in the cleaner as normal. With this plastic on the bottom the mud slides right out of the cleaner with no digging nor work. Just raise the dump and the plastic sheet along with all the mud slides right out. Give it a try. Get the heavier plastic so that it won't tear nor rip. Good luck.
