I have the Capital Vending kit. It works fine when it works. It can be on all night and still working the next day. Other days, the bill validator turns off after a few hours (green lights stop blinking). I can still see the solid red light within the validator when it does this. Turning off and on does not help. It must sit at least 24 hours before it powers on again (I suspect to clear memory or something). All red lights on power supply are lit solid. No error message on computer. Very frustrating. Any tips?

There's something wrong with the main board inside the validator. Is this a new validator or a recon?

Which model Mars validator is it. You might want to get another validator and send this one in for repair. Critical spare parts are always good to have on hand.

AE 2611. Who do you recommend repair it? Obviously the previous guys aren't reliable.

Anyone on this listed on this list http://www.meigroup.com/global/about_mei/approved_service_centres_/index.xml would be fine. Just make sure they understand that the validator is used in a bill changer. You've got a couple of service centers in Florida. I would also buy a spare validator, any 110 volt AE2600 series validator will work, the frames are all the same, all you have to do is change the bezel on the front of the validator. The guts are are all the same on the 110 volt AE2600 validators.
