Running Wipers in the Touch Free?

I just saw a sign offered by PDQ that shows instructions on entering a Laserwash. One of the steps say:

-Turn wipers on, drive forward slowly...

I actually thought you should not run wipers during a wash, takes off the pre-soak trying to dissolve stuff on the windshield. Any good reason to run the wipers?

My IBA customer demographics:
Can't see with or without windshield wipers = 25%
At the first hint of water from the undercarriage wash, hit the brakes and sit for 20 minutes = 10%
Manage to find themselves on the wrong side of the rails = 5%
Use the IBA blowers to remove loose hay from bed = 5%
Normal customers = 55%

I have to say that your questions have degraded to being rather silly, and I'll say again that this forum is primarily for owners and operators to communicate with one another.
