Have a Ryko that has recently started to, apparently for no reason, start all by itself. The door opens, the green lights come on, and it's ready to give a wash. I mean, randomly just sitting there and it just does it. Any ideas? I don't, well at least didn't believe in ghosts. Thanks in advance.

My Coleman unit would do that when the relays in the entry unit would start going bad. They would fire the wash randomly. Worth looking at if the technology is the same.

What model of machine? Can you please provide the program number and revision? What are you using to arm the machine?

Darin, Thanks for your reply. We actually spoke with Ryko tech support this morning. Narrowed it down to the combination wash selector ( I think that's what it's called--the box with all the dip switches). After getting off the phone with them, I turned #1 dip-switch off on the #4 wash input (that's the wash it was giving for free). It quit initiating by itself. So then I just moved #4 input to #5 (unused previously). It worked. We now have one unusable input, but we were only using 4 out of 6 anyway. Is there any way to get documentation as to what dip switches do what. That sure could help us in the future. Thanks again. Joe jomolnar1@comcast.net
