There is a new install at the mobile station in downtown Leominster next to the post office. Let me know if you come down and I'll buy lunch

My first touchfree was a 2001 Ryko US OHD. It was a piece of ****. Sorry Soapy. All inverted L in my mind are poor technology. Just look for a used water wizard 2.0 for around $30 - $40K and be done with your search. You won't be disappoint.

After four painful years of learning the ins and outs of a OHD, I bought a used WW 1.0 to replaced the OHD. Revenue has double for me with same $5, 6, 7, $8 wash.

I think you will be happier with a gantry unit but I would prefer an Istobal unit over the Water Wizard although there are probably many more of them out there.

Vinh I had the opposite experience with my OHDs. I like all 6 of them that I have and they have been extremely reliable.

You know, if you stop and think about this, there are a LOT of variables that affect owner's opinion of a machine. You can have the best machine out there, but if the distributor who installed and programmed it was an idiot, you will hate the machine. I have seen really crude automatics that were set up in a good market with knowledgeable people, and they owners loved them. This forum does help though to sift through some of the vagaries. All things being equal, if the high pressure spray hits the car from one foot as opposed to four feet from an inverted "L", it will clean better. And don't forget the heart of any machine - the chemicals.

I got the chemicals part down pretty good, thanks to friends here on the forum. I can dump the soap on and still be at a fraction of the cost of my former products. Car quality with my L is very good. I just want a faster machine that can be serviced and supported (tech support) as well as easily programmable. not a fan of gantrys. nope.

I had the Gantry style, D&S 5000, & most of community didn't like it. Replaced w/ a used LW40PP, & sales have doubled! Folks here love the dually pkg also!
