Hey everyone I have to replace my boost pump, I checked with Ryko and they can supply me with one at a cost of $1,500. I really can't justify that cost with trying to find another supplier. Any Ryko users had experience replacing their boost pump with an alternative pump at a better cost??? Thank you in advance for all your help.

Dultmeier sales has the same starite pump for about $464. They also sell a gould a pump for around $600. I have purchased several of the starite pumps and in the future I will buy the gould pump. The main reason is that the starite pump impellers are good for 140 degree water but the gould is rate for over 160 degree water. The starite pumps fail because the plastic impellers start to fail when hot water during the presoak cycle goes through the pump. I think the gould will stand up better to the hot water. I also recommend that you install a 3/4 inch dema strainer on the output side of the pump between the pump and injector mainfold. It will collect all the parts that start to flake off when the impellers start to destruct and keep your injectors tips from getting all plugged up. My local shops wanted about $1000 per pump and said the dultmeier price was less than they could buy them for.
