Hi, having issues with my (2006) softgloss xs wax pump and need to know if anyone has changed out the blue white pumps to injectors. SPECIFIC INFO (did YOU go this route?) needed since there are 4 wires going to the pump, along with I CAN'T try ideas to find out that this should work.. I have 60psi except when the touchless runs certain passes. Chemical reps have confirmed the blue/ white pump volume inconsistency, and other issues make me need to find a reliable pump alternative even though the Ryko is nearing retirement. THANKS in advance.

Have you changed the check valves on the pump? This is one thing people completely forget about, and one of the main reasons anyone actually believes these pumps are inconsistent. Blu-White pumps are actually very consistent.
Also, if you have a large air gap in the line on top of the machine where the wax is injected, you will get a "delay"...meaning you won't see wax applied to the vehicle until it reaches the windshield. Again, no fault of the pump.
If you don't have consistent water pressure, I would highly recommend staying away from an injector.

I agree with checking the check valves. What I used to do when I had Blue white pumps is to use John guest push lock check valve and put on in front and behind the actual pump. I would gut the little check ball system that blue white used and just use the 3/8 push lock check valve. They lasted forever in this application and work more consistant. Just remember to put them in with the arrows in the flow direction you want.
