My rear brush on the softgloss is tripping the breaker. The shaft appears to be grinding in the part right above the cloth and below the bearing and covers on the machine. It is where the air lines go into. I can not find this part any where online but know someone here can help me. I need to know also if there is anyway to get the wash to work until I can get a new one. Im not sure exactly what it does that's why I am asking the pros. Thanks

That would be your clutch assembly, I removed mine from both rear arms just because of that reason they are way too expensive to replace and they are non-repairable, all new softgloss maxx units are being assembled without that troublesome part now, my recommendation is remove it and get the retro-kit from Ryko.

Thanks Diamond
We are back open now.
Tec was going away and said he would stop by in a week and see what the problem is. This web site has saved me thousands and many days of being down. Thanks again

I agree with Steve. Best option is just to convert it over to clutch-less. The P/N's you are looking for is 22133-114 for the right rear retrokit, and 22133-115 for the left rear. You will also want to disconnect the wires for the clutch solenoid valves. You may also be able to get by using fewer parts. If you talk to the tech, ask him to lookup bulletin 3-438 and it gives them a breakdown.

Darin,

Please indicate which wires for the clutch solenoid valve to disconnect so the info is on here.

The rear arm clutch solenoid is controlled by PLC output Y56 (wire 256) on all vintages of equipment.
