I am having an issue with my Ryko Softgloss and the closing of the Airlift garage doors and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
My thermostat for the doors is set around 40 degrees. It was working fine and when a wash was purchased any time the temperature was colder than 40 the doors would open and then shut once the wash started and then after it was finished. A couple of days ago I noticed that both doors were staying open after a wash. I checked to make sure that the red dot was flashing which enables the door close function and it was. During my troubleshooting one weird thing that I noticed was that while it was cold and the door was supposed to be shut, if I manually closed the door and then pushed the emergency stop button then pulled it out, the door would open. Normally it would act in the opposite manor and when it is cold outside if I open the door and then push the emergency stop and pulled it back then the door would shut as it should after a wash was complete.
I spoke to the person that has been doing the work on my machine and he wasn't sure what the problem was but suggested that it could be the thermostat. I tried a different one and it didn't solve the problem, so that wasn't it. I am not sure what else to check. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
