I'm not sure where your issue is, but I'd start with the photoeye's.
Do you have an external control panel, or is your control panel integrated into the motor unit?
I've had the PanTron photoeye's go bad.....sometimes only "weak".
Is there ice or snow on the eyes?
My unit has the external control panel, so there's a "test" button on the PanTron amplifier which allows checking both of my photoeye channels.
Can you push the "manual" button and get the door to close after a vehicle enters? Can you open AND close the doors with push buttons?
Another thought.....your car wash system is likely sending the "open" signal. Could this be sticking ON, so that when the close signal gets sent, it doesn't work?
