Sad news from Kleen Rite

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the recent passing of Tom Allen, Kleen-Rite’s senior technician and dedicated employee for 35 years. For many car wash operators, Tom’s name is synonymous with problem solving. He was the first person many customers and employees turned to for information and guidance on all things car washing. Everyone who met Tom had a story about how he assisted them. Helping others was simply Tom’s way.

and loved his how to videos straight and to the point

Never spoke with Tom directly....but his videos are the best....and will be (part) of his legacy. RIP!

Just saw him at the KleenRite expo when he took us on a tour of his car wash that he co-owns. He was young. Nice guy, knew a lot. Sad to hear. RIP.

My heart goes out to those close to Tom. Hopefully, Kleen-Rite has someone in the wings who can at least partially fill his shoes. Sometimes, I think we too often we take each other for granted until one of us is gone!

My sympathies go out to Tom’s family and the Kleen-rite family. We are new to the car wash world and Tom’s videos have been very helpful to us.

I have watched many of his great videos but never did get to meet him. So sad but it sounds like he had a good life.

It's really a sad day at Kleen-Rite. We knew Tom for many years, he had a tremendous amount of knowledge about the car wash systems and equipment. He'll truly be missed.

So very sad to hear! My heart goes out to his personal family, and KR family. I really appreciated Tom's Videos!! Watching his videos were very helpful, taught me a lot about maintenance and helped me feel more confident. He WAS the face of Kleen-Rite. He reminded me of my father, and I appreciated his wisdom, tips, and professionalism. I will miss seeing him in future videos!
