will this machine separate a quarter(.96) from a similar size token(.985) or are they too close in size?

It will do pretty good, but once in a while a quarter would sneak through with the tokens. I would usually just run the tokens back through, since there usually wasn’t a huge amount of them. If you dispense only tokens, that may be more of a nuisance to you than it was for me.

thanks for the info, maybe I’ll go to a 1.074 to eliminate that problem.
