Anyone know if the JE Adams security kit would work on a Carolina Pride round vac? If not, is there a different kit I can use?

Measure the latch layout and door height, I will try to do the same with an Adams vac with the kit so you can compare measurements.

Door is 12 inches tall and about 16 inches wide. Latches start at 2" from top and bottom, 7" between them. Thanks!

Doesn't look like it'll fit, although you could always move the latches. On the Adams vacs they're at 2 3/4" from each edge of the 12" door.

Thanks. Latches should be easy to move. Is the security bar just riveted in? Is that secure enough?

They come with SS rivets which are way stronger than the aluminum ones, but if you're worried about strength you might want to drill the holes bigger and use 1/4" carriage bolts. I ended up cutting/drilling 1/4 x 2" stainless angle iron and using 3/8" carriage bolts, looks like ass but has kept the homeless out 100% for three years.
