We sound like a broken record I know, but we can not stress enough operators investing in the security of the vendor! Unless the vendor is inside a room with attendants and/or customers around, we don't even like to sell a ShurVend Vending System to a customer with out "360-degree" security on the vendor. Our new Uni-Pac vending system is the outgrowth of wanting to design a complete security system for any vendor that we sell.
Even the Outsider that we sell as a factory-designed secure vendor for outside use can be vulnerable at a 24/7/365 facility. One of our customers sent us these pictures of an Outsider that was "hammered" by some thugs trying to get some money for ???? The operator is 100% tokens and takes the money out every night, so there was no money in the vendor. But the cost to replace the door would have almost paid for the extra up-front cost of a Uni-Pac ShurVend secure system that we now sell.
See the pix below on what happened to an Outsider.
