I need all new signage from direction, menu and disclaimer signs. Who is everyone using for new signs in self serve bay?

Do they need to be a certain material like aluminum or plastic? What do you guys recommended works best in a self serve bay environment?

Contact Ivonne at STA Graphics. I've had them do some decals for me and they've been great!

Make sure you ask for Lexan material for the surface. They made me some decals laminated with matte vinyl, and it's way too soft.

I have had good luck with buildasign.com Its a website where you pick your material, design the sign with their design software and they will print it and ship it to you. They are high quality printed signs, not some cheap cut vinyl tape signs. Very competitive pricing.

Last year I used a local sign shop to make some over lays so I could use my exisiting aluminum signs. They designed a 1 sheet instruction sign and used my old signs for about $40 each.

You can prolly clean your current sigsn really good, then put these lexan overlays right on top.

I can get a 12 x 12 aluminum-backed sign with Lexan laminated print for $12. It would not be worth the time and effort for me to try and salvage an old aluminum backing. Maybe if the current surface isn't cracked or peeling and you can get away with covering it, but that isn't usually the case.

Where do you get your signs? Even VisitaPrint costs $50 for such a simple 12"x12" metal sign.

"Dirt cheap" is the only good thing I hear about Kleen-Rite.
They've got some for $7... Yes full size- normally $40 for $7 in clearance.

They are "scratch and dent", so I bought 6 instead of the 5 I needed.

Conveniently, 5 are about perfect and 1 a little less so, so it worked out for me.

Can't beat $35 to replace signage in 5 bays + the cost of the overlays :)

I also was decently satisfied by the ones they have at Windtrax. I almost bought them there. They have old school signs for only $18-22 depending on the color, and a modern nice one for $41. Probably the way to go.

I only went with Kleenrite because well.. $7.
