Skunk smell removal - idea?

We have a customer whose dog was sprayed by a skunk and she then put the dog in her suv. Any suggestions on how to remove the smell?

Deep cleaning of area, ozone overnight. De-skunk shampoo for the dog.

Poor Dog!

Agree with everything said... and think it will linger on the dog longer than the interior. You may also wish to douse the affected area with Fabreeze max strength.

Use a strong ozone unit (max grams) and give the interior a sniff-test after about 12-hours. Repeat, if necessary. Follow with Fabreeze.

Be sure to run the air conditioning on "max cold" for recirculation through the air ducts, too.
