So guys just want to say your replies have been a great help
as someone who is new to this I have 2 questions
1: On a Laserwash M5 what metering tip do you recommend for the soap? We replace the chemical pump and soap now foams really well and covers the cars well. But we are using a lot of soap. How many cars should you get for a gallon on soap?
2: Can you suggest a class or books to help with the learning curve?
thanks

Your chemical rep should set you up with the proper dilution tips. No one here can tell you how many cars on a gallon of soap; as all products are different. Your product label should give you a final dilution rate, to which you will have to check your particular injector(s) and meter accordingly.

you refersmced dilution tips and Particular injectors. If I’m not mistaken the dilution tips are color coded and the package list ratio and gpm. What are the particular injectors ?
just trying to figure all this out
thanks

The class is this forum. There is plenty of info on how to dilute soaps. Your chemical rep should help you figure it out - if they aren't, find one that will.

Take out the metering tip that you have in there. Look at the color look at the chart that comes with the bag of injector tips and find the color that corresponds to the next smallest size and try that. Keep going down one tip at a time until you get soap that looks too weak in your opinion. In other words it doesn't provide adequate coverage to the vehicle. Then go back up one size

That makes sense and is a simple solution. We’ll reduce the tip size as suggested till coverage is not adequate then bring tip size back up to get coverage needed
you guys are correct Lots of helpful information on the forum
Thanks
