They are a big nuisance in subtropical FL. Out of frustration I grabbed a can of WD40 and sprayed it, more to pi$$ it off than anything else. Well one minute later one dead spider.

Most spiders breathe through two pair of "book lungs" in their abdomen. Oil stops them from respirating through them and they suffocate.

I spray a couple of times a year with Talstar P Professional Insecticide, I don’t have a spider problem or any other little critter problems. I hate spiders

Will WD 40 work on birds an nest they are a real pest at one site ?
