Spot free rinse short out

Hello Everyone,
I have 8 bays self serve car wash. I have problem with bay 8 on spot free option. When I switch to spot free rinse on bay 8, the display is flashing the timer (all other bays does not flashing), and it will burn the fuse on transformer after 30 seconds (the spot free rinse pump does not turn on). The other 7 bays is working great with spot free. I have checked the wiring at the dial but nothing broken or touching. I am looking for the wire on the selector dial to see which wire is for spot free but don't know the number. Or the wire in the the control box by transformer? Or do you think the solenoid is bad?

Does any of you have this problem? Or what do I need to look for?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nick

Most likely the solenoid coil is bad. The spot free wire position on the switch is either 18 (8 position) or 19 (10 position).

Hi MEP001,
Thank you for your respond.
The solenoid coil you are referring to is the one that connect to the fuse? If so, I replaced it after this happen and it does the same thing.
Or the solenoid that open for the water to come to the bay (hanging in the wall next to the spot free pump)?

What was the fuse for? It might have been the main fuse for the bay. Do you have a Coleman Super Saver?

The only solenoid is the one for the water to the bay. If you disconnect a wire to the coil and the bay runs except without spot free flow, it's the coil.

The timer is probably getting enough of a voltage drop and shutting off, then restarting.

I used to be friends with Patrick. I haven't seen him in years. Have you heard from him?

I replaced a new timer 2 months ago.
The fuse is connected to the transformer to convert to 24v for the solenoid for spot free, tire cleaner, presoak etc.
No, I have not seen patric for a long time too.
What is your name? And are you from austin?

The fuse probably blew from the same short that's causing the problem you have now.

Yes, I'm from Austin. I taught Patrick everything he knows.

Here are the transformer and the fuse that burn up if I switch the dial to spot free rinse
