I'd approach it one thing at a time. I think I remember that you have the DH Touch Select doors. I had the same doors and had a few issues similar to this. If you do have the DH doors there are three circuit boards. One board is the timer. One board is the controller. One board is for sound. The controller board is in a black case which is connected to the case for the timer board which is connected to the back of the door. There are four small screws that holds the controller board case closed. Remove those screws and make sure that all of the wire connections are tight. I think that there are three harness type connections to the controller board. One large one and two small ones. There are so many wires that it is easy to pull a harness loose when opening and closing the door. I'd check the connections to the controller board and all other wire connections in the meter box to see if something might have worked loose. If checking the wire connections doesn't lead you to the problem then rule out the contactor as others have described. I always try to save checking possible higher voltage causes for last. If you don't find it in the meter box wiring or the contactor I'd agree with MEP and think that something is wrong with the controller board. I had constant problems with the controller boards. The problems were more frequent during cold weather. The only way to deal with the controller boards is to send them out for repair. Can't really look at them and identify a problem. The other issue that I had was with the selection "buttons". They really are not buttons as much as contacts. When they get worn down over time they will stop working consistently. I had one door that the spot free would only turn on if you pushed a very specific spot. Another door I had a problem with the HP soap button turning on the foam brush. I don't know of anyone that fixes the push button/contact strips. I took a door apart just for fun and those push button/contact strips don't appear to be something that can be rebuilt by the average person.
