Got to the wash this AM to find the red light illuminated on the changer. Hopper empty and no bills in stacker. Hamilton XE with anti string device on the stacker. No evidence of ripped bills from the teeth of the anti string device on the stacker. There was residue which appeared to be from tape on the inside of the validator. Anyone else with an XE and device in the stacker been strung??? One of our worst weeks of the summer and then this...........

Or replace the validator with a Mars. I still haven't heard a confirmed case of one being strung.

I had an XE validator until I got strung, twice. First time I thought "no way, gotta be a fluke". Second time I thought how much of an idiot I was for not believing the first time. I took out the XE and put a MARS acceptor in instead. Two years and not one person has strung. There have been a couple of attempts, discovered partial bills in the validator.

IMHO, go with MARS.
