Just drive a pair of flathead screwdrivers into the gap between the pump and the motor, one from each side. Maybe take the bolts out first.
Yes I have removed the 4 bolts and tried to pry them apart with flat head screw driver and even a pry bar. I am new to this. I have even hung it up by the pump and it still wouldn't come apart.My wife said you need to remove the 8 Allen head bolts first then remove the head. LOL!

That part is the pump head. I am talking about the pump as a whole.My 8 year granddaughter looked at the picture and said you need to take out all 8 of the silver bolts with the round heads
