The studs that are on a meterbox lid where you mount the timer, coin acceptor, etc what size are they 6/32?

Coin acceptor studs are #6/32 TPI, any bigger and you'd have to drill out the hole in the acceptor. Dixmor LED7 timers fit best on #8/32 studs, then you can use a nut with a 1/4" hex and actually get a nut driver over it.
