Hi Guys,

Im in the process of sorting out a car wash system but not impressed with the Laserwash 360. Anyone have anything to chime in regarding the alternatives in the title above.

Istobal Tracer
Istobal M'NEX 24
WW Razor Edge
Ryko Radius

Anyone have personal experience in comparison to the LaserWash 360?

I have also heard some mixed opinions on the MNEX and that it hits any overhead car accessories (i.e potentially on roof rack where its scanning system fails) so would love some opinions on that.

Thanks!

I have a razor but not the edge. It's fast, reliable, and my distributor Autowash Maintenance set it up to really clean the car well. I use three presoaks and it cleans the heck out of the cars. I'm getting $22 for my top package and over 50% of my customers choose it. The razor replaced my old superior side track 700 R. I can't say enough good things about the razor. It really changed my life in many good ways. It makes having a car wash fun again.

Thanks for the perspective. It's good to hear from others perspectives as I'm in Australia and about 80% of the IBA near me atleast are laserwashes

I'm not sure if it's out in Australia yet or not, but Istobal has a new machine to replace the M'Nex 24. We are calling it the M'Wash Pro in the states, but it's referred to as an M3 in other countries. It's computer processor is much faster and it scans and makes brush adjustments smoother/better, as well as some other incremental updates and upgrades (all VFDs).

I believe the only new one we have in Australia yet is the MWASH4, not super sure what the differences are between the models

I'm honestly not sure all the differences either, or if MWASH4 is available in a touchless version or just the M3? I believe the MWASH4 is the "highest" model though, and set up for the "whole wash connectivity" concept. I know the M3 and M4 are "smarter" with more powerful processors that combined with VFD motors, help smooth out the brush and profiling movements substantially. A side effect of this is everything transitions smoother and faster too, adding up to more time savings then we thought it would.

Interesting, I assume youve installed one of them, how long is your full package wash taking?
Also, IIRC the distributor told me the MWash4 can also be done with touchless only as well

To clean a car with a touchless you rely more on the chemical and less on the actual machine. From that standpoint I think reliability is the key factor. I have been very pleased with my Rykos over the years and the radius is a good reliable unit for me. Petit is getting a lot of buzz here in the US.
