Surfline Tandem Nylon Roller Replacement

Just got done changing all the rollers on my machine. Our tech guy had to talk to PDQ and they said to use c clamps to hold the machine up so that's what we did

I use two ladders, 1 8foot ladder, with a small bottle jack and a 2 x 4 to support either end of the bridge up while I undo the roller and slide it down the rail. And another ladder to stand on while I undo everything. It’s super easy, you could probably change all of the rollers in about 40 minutes.

These were the worse of the rear bridge rollers….doesn't look like they have went around in awhile!

Would like to see where you put the clamps…and how big of clamps did you have to use?
We used these because we couldn't find a bigger regular c clamp locally(8inch was biggest they had). We used 2 of them when we did it. I'll try and get a photo where we put them

Wow I wouldn’t have guessed that type of clamp would hold the weight of the bridge.
Ya they each had 1,100 lbs clamping strength. Just don't use the plastics ones. I will probably order some regular ones that are 14 or 18 inch like this.

When we change them I usually just use a 1/4 ton ratcheting come along. On the back bridge we use 2. Just wrap it over the rail and through the bridge. It works just fine.
