Current setup:
WashChange change machine currently setup for quarters - no advance control board installed.
Coinco bill acceptor
SuzoHapp Mx2 Cube Hopper model 10-1700-41 (quarters)
Current Unit works great. No issue.
I'm trying to convert changer to distribute US $1 coins. Flip dip switch one to on.... success. Machine will distribute one coin, per dollar. Great!
Ordered a backup MX 2 Cube hopper model # 10-1700-41 (pre-set to quarters) and 10-1700-83 (pre-set for $1 coins). The new cube hoppers arrived. I decided to test new cube hoppers. Installed the 10-1700-83 ( with pre-installed Disc#8 and arm C1). The changer dumped all coins, no matter bill type inserted. So........
Test:
1. Uninstalled new cube hopper base (model#10-1700-83) and removed arm and disc(Disc#8 and arm C1). Installed disc and arm to old cube hopper base (model#10-1700-41). Machine worked as should.
2. Installed the brand NEW cube base (model #10-1700-41) along with the Disc#8 and arm C1. The changer dumped all coins, no matter bill type inserted.
3. Removed new cube hopper base(model#10-1700-41) and re-installed old cube hopper base (model#10-1700-41), with Disc#8 and arm C1). Machine worked perfectly.
4. Removed the trans cable and smaller board that detects coins output from the older unit and installed on the newer base units. Failed -all coins dumped out.
Pin layout is the same on both units.
I spoke to Zuzo Happ. They believe the issue is a setting with the host machine. For me, the issue has to be in the board........am I crazy?
Any thoughts, ideas, or additional test I should try?
