I have some 4' t-5 lights purchased from KR about 4 years ago, since then i guess they have changed who they purchase these lights from and they are not compatible with the older lights, the problem i am having is that the clips in the pictures are breaking and they can't get the parts for the older fixtures, does anyone have any of the older LIFH04 light fixtures with the clips as shown in the pictures, i hate to replace the whole light for this one piece. These clips hold the bulbs and the ballast into the light fixture. The originals were manufactured by brontech industries. Or where can these clips be purchased?
By the way, I like the updated website.

Twodose,

Something to consider is possibly finding a buddy who has a 3D print machine & knows how to use it. It appears that the part by the pics that it is 100% plastic so that makes it an even more likely candidate for the process. A prerequisite is a CAD drawing saved in STL format. it iooks pretty small requiring very little filament so maybe the cost by a full fledged custom part manufacturer could be within a practical cost range. Their on staff engineers could possible help you narrow down the specific choice of plastic & it could turn out to be a much more break resistant replacement part. Hopefully, this information turns out to be helpful.

No I dont have these clips or know where to get them, but I would rig something before I bought a new fixture - maybe zip ties and washers.

FYI, the clips that hold the clear lens onto the fixture are different too, but I was able to get them to work for me.
