Tearing out old trough

Has anyone tried to remove the old roof trough and replace with new. If so what material did you use and where do you get it.

I have even thought about not having a trough at all.

I assume it's on the roof? What's wrong with the trough? You need something to protect the lines, although if you replace them with black nylon you could leave them exposed.

Yes it is on the roof - just old and rusting out - probably just going to need to get someone to build me a trough like the one that is there and replace - would just be nice to do away with but Mother Nature I assume says no to that - will wait for a few warm days and just get it done - thanks for the insight
